Midyear report help (hopefully from a professional)

I'm taking a full IB schedule and IB doesn't give out semester grades. So my counselor just sends a copy of my report card and a letter stating that that these grades are not final and that final grades will have to wait until the end of the year. My school uses a semster schedule and each semester is split into 2 terms; my grades in the 2nd term were worse than the first, 3 of my grades were worse, though one of them was better. I'm taking 6 classes, 5 IBs and one AP (Physics C, which averages to an A for the semester).

Here's the thing in my county though: an A for one term and B in the 2nd term averages to an A for the semester, so you can have all As for the 1st term but all Bs in the second; that would average to an A for the semester. But for non-IB classes, the individual term grades are not seen. So will the admissions office take this into account?

I mean, if IB classes are averaged, then I would have 5 As and 1 B. But I really hope none of those schools don't ask, because once they see my report card, I'm basically ****ed...and it's unfair too, because those people taking non-IB courses will get away with it because the admissions office won't see their individual term grades.

but then again, my classes are still in progress and if any student has an A in any class it doesn't mean his/her grade has never dropped to a B or C at some point.

So my final question is...do I have any chance at any high ranking schools if they see my grades?

Math HL- B,C (this is the hardest course offered in my whole county. I don't know how your teacher teaches it, but it is hard at my school)
English HL- A,B
Chemistry HL- A,B
Theory of Knowledge- A,A
History of Americas SL- B,A
