so how bad can they be? if i have maybe one or two B+s and the rest all As in 6 AP classes, would that be okay for HYPMS? my grades and extracurriculars are okay; i already got into Caltech EA. One of those is in ap calc bc ='( but i'm not horrible at math. i have a 780 math SAT I and 800 math 2 SAT II and a 6 aime score and a bunch of math competitions. the last three years i've had straight As (meh, mostly A-s, but i've taken the hardest classes I could). but calc is a bunch of busy work that i'm too lazy to do :(

how would that look, especially to MIT? Thanks :)

I'm sure it won't be too bad, but you should try to maintain consistently high grades, of course.

thanks! bump? any other opinions?

A's in 6 AP classes?? man, you have to do better than that to get into HYPMS... really, they are looking for grades in the 110-120 range.

but in all honesty, you're fine, don't worry.

You'll be fine.... don't freak out because HYPS care not only about grades =)
