Just wondering, have most of you guys had midyear reports sent out yet?

For my school, the semester ended the first week in February, and the counselors all requested midyear report envelopes, but they still haven't sent them out yet. Is it worth going to bother my counselor about it?

My semester ended late January, and the midyear transcripts were out by February 11th. I had all my envelopes in early because my grades were very good, but you'd do no harm by just asking your counselor when the grades will be sent out. If you're anxious to get that transcript in to show an upward trend, then yes, I'd absolutely pester your counselor.

Mine were mailed out today, but I'm not aware of any specific deadlines for midyear reports. I know Johns Hopkins and University of Virginia (both schools I didn't apply to) have February 15th midyear report postmark deadlines. What happens to the kids applying to those schools that have them sent out late because of their school?

There is absolutely nothing you can do about your school ending its semester later than the norm, so just let the colleges know.
