Our school ends the semester on Feb 9th, and rankings won't be sent from the LAUSD until next week. So the mid-year report will be sent very late.

Am I going to be hurt in the college admissions process, because of this? I'm applying to Ivies, Stanford, Duke, other top 25s etc.

Thanks

I have the same exact question. Well, actually, my counselor is an idiot and forgot to add my two online classes to my transcript… so I need to send out an update ASAP…

I dont think it will hurt you since most schools want the Midyear Report as soon as more information is available (in other words, as soon as the semester is over). You may want to check with the colleges just to be safe though. And make sure your counselor sneds them out ASAP!

yea i hope it won’t hurt the decisions… :/

he’ll send them as soon as possible

i’ve heard colleges notify you first if something is missing from your transcript when they want it, and after that you have a day or two to send it in. Especially with the east coast snow delaying everything, if you haven’t heard from colleges, you still have time.

Ya, Sophie, I just got an emial from UNC-Chapel Hill that they extended their midyear report deadline a week because of the snow on the east coast. And I’m sure they aren’t the only school.
