Military Veteran - What are my chances?

I have been in the Navy for the past 6 years. The last 4 years I have been a Nuclear Reactor Operator on the USS Enterprise, which includes it's last 2 deployments.

The first two years of my enlistment I went through the Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline - A very vigorous training program.

Other than that I've taken only one college course online: Intro to Macroeconomics, in which I received a B, at Excelsior College.

I didn't do well in high school or my SAT's, but that was over 7 years ago.

I am interested in the Gabelli School of Business, with a focus on Entrepreneurship.

What are my chances?

Being a veteran helps. But admissions has to be fair to everyone. How bad are the stats?

Always apply to 3 reach, 4-5 match schools, and 3 safety schools, using YOUR stats as the guide.

Best of luck.

I was in the Navy for 6 years also, got out last November. Just submitted my application to Fordham today, but still need to finish sending in the rest of my documents.

I have a 3.4 from a community college, hoping that will get me in. Along with my military service, volunteer work, and recommendations. Ill keep you updated though.

Good luck to both of you!!
