S#2 has gotten calls from one of the head coaches at Milton.
He would be very interested in pursuing admission but does not want to board (nor do we want him to board)...Does anyone know if there are car pool options available from the Western Boston suburbs?

There are bus options from some of the western suburbs for day students.

Typically, the Boston area schools have car pools which are run entirely by the parents and vary wildly, therefore, in how they function. If there are other students in the general area, you can probably join or establish carpooling. However, the schools are usually not in charge (although they will help by providing parents with lists of kids by location), and can't guarantee that carpooling in any given area is available.

Milton is an amazing school.

How far would you say you are from Milton Academy?
A lot of my friends are day students here and they come to school by a bus provided by the school and they live about an hour away.

We live just west of Boston, but would have to commute on 93 or the MassPike to 93 which as you know could be anywhere from 20 minute commute to over an hour----tough to do with 2 working parents

I will ask the admissions office when my son goes to interview and see what options there are--thanks
