I guess my main question is can I start my own business with a masters in management or would the MBA be better for that?
I don't want to acquire job experience after my undergrad degree so I guess the MiM at LBS would be better...but if I were completely stellar in all areas (if -_-) would I have a chance at LBS' MBA program?

I doubt if either degree would be of huge assistance in starting your own business. Do you have a particular area of entrepreneurship that you are thinking of? A grounding in that discipline (technology, hospitality management, etc.) would likely be more valuable. Although some business programs do offer entrepreneurship content, a lot of the coursework is relevant to larger, more structured, businesses.

A fancy degree might add a wee bit of credibility if you are trying to get funding, but it won’t be much more than a toe in the door with serious VCs.
