"Minimum GPA and SAT/ACT cutoff" at top schools

For most top schools, they want students who are a good fit for the school, but also want to ensure that they can handle the workload at the college.

Is this considered “pass the cutoff”?

35 ACT
3.8 UW GPA
Most Rigorous courses taken
2 800s on SAT Subject Tests
National Merit Semifinalist
All 4s and 5s on AP Exams

There is no cutoff.

Your grades and test scores will be considered competitive for top schools.

hahahah. Do you think there exists a school where the cut off above 35 ACT? C’mon!

Yes. I’d guess that a 3.6 UW GPA is enough to be at least considered.

There’s no hard cutoff, but your scores are competitive.

No cutoff since universities do review things holistically, and do not want to miss a student who might be an inch below the cutoff with other amazing and unique accomplishments. To be competitive? At top schools I would say 3.7 UW + 2200 SAT/33 ACT
