Now that we’re in, how much can we slack off. My 97 in stats has turned into a 90, ahh (but at my school grades are reported A, A-, B+, B, B- etc)!

How low can we go?

How low can we go?

haha i was wondering that too...obviously im not gonna go down to c+ or below but how much can i party???

well, some girl who goes me shul that goes to your school (she's kinda short. she's either israeli or persian, don't remember!) said that you were a total and absolute genius, so it doesn't sound like you gotta worry, chocbert!

u could get all b's and one b- and you'd be ok

how about 4 82s and 2 99s....that sound safe to you guys?...all APs btw...if some penn students could comment on this, thatd be hot...thanks!

Don't worry Dost. You are ok. I should find us that article I read somewhere. It talks about Penn's Stetson sending out "rescind admissions" letters to those who has a transcript full of Ds and Fs (they send out like 5-10 of those every year I think). And then, the kids with a load of Cs and like one D get the "warning letter"...but nothing happens. So, As and Bs and even one C...you are still set. Hope this helps. I just got my IPod today...wohoo!!! Soooo happy.

nice...i guess i should have mentioned this: my school reports exact grades (out of 100), but our A- is 92+ and B- is 83+....so do you think those grades are still ok?

haha panda...she told me she met u and tht u seemed like a really sweet guy:O)--NO i am not a total genius, i was actually shocked i got in, i was really expecting deferral but neways, can't wait to meet u next yr or maybe sooner!

Yea. Don't worry about it. I mean, I am pretty sure the admissions ppl know that it is perfectly normal to take a break after years of academic excellence. :) Just try to keep it above the C range, and you are set. Go Huntsman!!!

Awesome news, if anyone finds that article it'd be reassuring

id say keep it B+ or better; if they see a 97 go down to like an 83 theyll flip... but otherwise let the senioritis begin

^^ not true. believe me I have tons of friends who went to penn. having a couple A's drop to b-'s is fine

My school reports letter grades, so they won't see my 97 fall to a 90. The reason I made this post today is because I just found out i got a 120/150 on an AP stats test (each multiple choice and FRQ is worth like 7 points and there's no partial credit on anything unless you make a slight slight addition error or something like that on the FR) and that totally pi/./ssed me off. I was sure I got an 100 and I can't think of anything that I could have messed up on, except for 2 questions that I solved them my own way instead of my teacher's way. I'm going to try to find out tomorrow so I'm not pi/ssed off for the whole winter break. But, maybe I should take my friends' advice who said "stop studying because school is over and you're the only tight person that got into college early."

Oh, and see Catch, as evident by choc's post, my personality IS flawless! hahahaha!

Hmmmm...somebody is suffering from an over-extended ego again...oh great Pandy, I envy thee...you and your...your...personality?!?*rolls eyes."

Wait, so you guys slack off after you get in?

Not really. It's just we place a lot less emphasis on grades. A's and B's...I am smooth sailing my way toward the end of senior year.

Catch, did you honestly think I was serious?! You boggle me sometimes, Catchy! kekekek

im trying to keep up my grades. its moreso the fact that my teachers have come to expect good work from me, and i hate the feeling of letting them down that way -- its all a pride issue. plus a lot of scholarships that my school offers consider your senior grades.

Tsk...Tsk...Tsk Pandy, I never take you seriously...I mean, after all, you are just Pandy, the one with the "flawless" personality...:)

Don't act like you don't think it totally rocks.
