im currently a sophomore on the civil engineering track (at a fairly decent school) and was wondering what good a meche minor might be? I dont really feel like changing majors but i realize that i might not enjoy my job as a civil engineer. I like structural, but feel that i could easily fall out of love with it if i am not actually designing. would a minor in meche be enough to land me a job outside of the civil engineering world.

Minors are generally worthless. Don't a lot of CivE's just stand around and supervise? Sounds like a sweet deal to me.
