So a few days ago (actually on a college visit haha), I got an MIP. They told me since it was my first one I will most likely be able to do a diversion and get it expunged. I have already gotten into several schools so do I have to report it to them or do I not have to?
Did you tell your parents? Tell them NOW. There are likely deadlines and you probably need a lawyer with experience in the state and city you were in.
Until there is a final disposition, you may not know what has to be reported. But this could go much worse if you ignore it.
Will add to the good advice above that if you are not applying to schools anymore - meaning you are done applying, with the question(s) about arrests, then that’s a different situation than if you still have apps to send, because you’ll have to answer that question honestly, whether it’s going to be expunged eventually or not.
I’d bring your parents in ASAP if you haven’t yet.
