Minor Troubles

I have to declare my major/minor soon...I’m interested in a career in law, public policy, IR, foreign service…something along those (broad) lines. I’m majoring in Politics. Disregarding my strengths and interests, would I be better prepared and more marketable in those fields with a minor in a) Economics or b) History, or does it make any difference at all?

Thank you!

Take this with a grain of salt because this topic really is not my forte, but I would say that economics would give you a slight advantage over history.

Economics is much more marketable than history...

Economics would broaden your knowledge base and skill set more than history would.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I've taken more economics classes anyway, so I guess I'll stick with it.
