Minors on I-Day

I won’t be 18 on I-Day, so will I need a parent with me to sign paperwork? I wouldn’t imagine so, but I want to be sure for planning purposes.
Were any of you still 17 when you showed up? Did you have to have a parent’s signature anywhere other than your acceptance of appointment form?

Nope - my D was 17 and went alone. I must have signed something somewhere along the line but it was well before she left.

The appointment offer came with two forms that had to be returned. One was about the Armed Forces Bank and the other was the acceptance of appointment. There was a line on the appointment offer that your parents had to sign if you wouldn't be 18 by I-day. They were signing you away to the Academy, so you shouldn't need your parents.

As was said above, it's on one of the forms in your packet. I was 17 when I went, and I went alone. It doesn't change anything during Basic, as far I as know.

Awesome. I remember the one form, but I didn't know it was*the* form. Thanks, all.
