Clark. And my GPA, by the UC system, is a 3.3 apparently, but by my calculator, it is a 3.5... 3.4?

I just got into GW with a GPA of 3.04 (3.1 weighted). Was surprised by that, considering I had been rejected from others school like the University of Maryland and Northeastern.

i dont really believe princess09..maybe because earlier on today, another person with ONE post was accused of being a troll.
Hmm..

I think it depends greatly on where you went to high school. I went to a top private high school that was very competitive and got a 3.3 UW, while taking the most rigorous classes offered. My other states were really high though.

So far I have gotten into: UCB, UCSB, UCD, Dartmouth, Rochester, NYU and Carnegie Mellon.

wow, that's cool. I think that if you have a low GPA but went to a top school it's understandable that you would have a lower GPA, and that's why some people do fine. Also, if you did well with SATs too.

I had a 3.3 UW and I'm at Johns Hopkins

3.1 W at GWU.
