There is not enough current discussion on NCF on college forums. I have read many encouraging posts as well as discouraging posts, but they are all older posts. I have several questions based on what I have read on the older posts.

Where can find more current, independent data on the number of students who successfully go on to PhD programs, especially in biology?

Which popular grad schools do many of them attend?

Is biology a good program? I read bio majors should avoid NCF.+

How often do biology students need to take 5 or 6 years (instead of 4) to graduate because they could not get the classes they needed? I read that classes are often capped, there are few professors for each AOC, and that many classes are offered only every other year.

With few professors, how can one create a more specialized area of bio study?

Are meals purchased a-la-carte at the dining halls? I read there are no all-you-can-eat buffets at NCF that are common on other college campuses. I also read that dining hours are limited, prices are exorbitant, and that cooking your own meals is limited.

Are half of the students big smokers and drinkers? Can a student do well there who does not smoke, drink, or party a lot? Do they smoke in the dorms

Does financial aid vary from year to year is everything else remains the same? Do they provide financial aid if a student needs to stay there 5 or 6 years because they could not get the classes they needed?
