I had an interview scheduled at the Bay Area interview session this past weekend and I couldn't go because I was sick as a dog. There was no phone number to contact so I feel like I kinda just stood them up. Will this hurt my decision?

im sure it certainly wont help it...

Let's just say it's not going to help your cause at all.

I don't want to sound preachy, but you honestly should have called the Admissions Office (or at least called USC's main number to connect you to the right person(s) or something) to explain your sickness; I'm sure they would have understood and rescheduled your interview.

You can't cancel an interview with them for at least one business day before according to theire reservation thing.

Samething happened to me. An emergency came up the day before the interview and it was too late to cancel. I called USC's admission number and they didn't really give me a clear answer.

Send an apology letter explaining the circumstances to the admissions office.

I actually called again and the person told me don't even worry about it.
