Missing Materials and Waiving FERPA Rights

I applied to a college for early action. At my high school, the teachers are supposed to send their recommendations to my high school and the school is supposed to send the transcript+teacher recs together to the college I’m applying to.

The school swears they sent the materials in time, but my college app dashboard says they haven’t received any of the (main) recommendations and transcripts. I know it could take a while, so I thought to wait a little, until I remembered this.

My high school requires us to waive FERPA rights (i.e. don’t allow us to see the recommendations), and I intended to do so, but it turns out I actually forgot to waive my rights (or at least that’s what I think happened). Is this going to be a big problem for me or is it going to affect me adversely (bc I know people don’t like not waiving the FERPA rights)?

My son applied to several universities and all items have been submitted. Some schools immediately said they have all necessary items. A few still list one or two items as not yet submitted.

It’s not unusual for the application portals to lag and not have up-to-date information. It won’t hurt to send an email to your colleges to ask if they have everything yet.
