Mistake in My Application

So I applied to 4 CSU’s (Northridge, SLO, Long Beach, and San Diego) and I put down 3.69 as my GPA, but when I recalculated it, I realized that I accounted for my freshmen year grades so my actual CSU GPA is a 3.86 but I already submitted my application. I emailed 3 of the schools and need to call LB, but will this hurt my application in any way for making such a major mistake?

Thanks!

I don’t think it will hurt you since a) it was just a mistake and b) you reported a lower GPA, so you actually did better- you weren’t trying to inflate your gpa to help yourself.

The CSU’s will calculate your GPA based on your self-reported grades, so no worries.

They do recalculate your GPA but, there is no harm in calling each campus and letting them know of your mistake.
