Mistake in Updated Activity - Help!

I uploaded an Updated Activity sheet to Brown’s Self Service portal. In it, I expressed a desire to double concentrate in Astrophysics and the Literary Arts.

There’s no such thing as an Astrophysics concentration at Brown. It is only Astronomy.

I did click on Astronomy and Literary Arts as my two intended concentrations when doing the Brown’s supplemental questions on the Common App. So on my Application summary it does say Astronomy and the Literary Arts are my intended degrees. However, in my Updated Activity Word document, I mistakenly wrote Astrophysics instead.

I can’t even delete the Updated Activity document and upload a revised one because now that it’s uploaded, it doesn’t even show up on my application summary. I think whatever you upload immediately goes into their database and you can’t retrieve it, sort of like sending an email.

Is this stupid mistake worth me sending them an email to clarify, or should I just let it be?

Thank you so much!

I would say it couldn’t hurt to clarify via email, but there is always the option of being an independent major at Brown, so perhaps they will read it thinking you’ve chosen to invent your own major:)

Anyone think that I should update all of my college applications with a new job? I just got hired a few days ago.

No, it won’t make a significant impact on your application. It’s not as though having gotten a job in your senior spring will suddenly make you a much better candidate for Brown.

How do I submit an update? Do I just upload a pdf with my updated accomplishments?
