Mistake on the common application affecting admission

Hi, so when I was elaberating on one of my extra curricular activities I was cut off without knowing it. I had counted the number of characters without taking account spacing but when I was looking at the application everything seemed to have fit until I went back and looked at it after I had sent it to four colleges. I e-mailed all of the colleges appoligizing for my mistake and gave them the two cut off sentences. Will my mistake affect my chances of being accepted? My reach school and three schools which I thought I had a good chance at were the schools I sent my application to so I'm very worried that this mistake could cost me the chance to get into the schools.

Don’t worry about it. Your 4 year academic record, test scores and letters of rec are much more important. Your ECs and demonstrated level of commitment to them are also important. Demonstrated interest is important at some schools. Two sentences at the end of an essay that you sent in a follow-up email is a very minor mistake and itsn’t going to keep you out of anywhere you would have been admitted to.
