I have made a mistake on my common application that I subbmitted yesterday to 3 collges that I was apply to at that time (Drexel University, UVM, and Umass Amherst). I read my appication over twice yet In reading it over again after I have submitted them I have realized that mistakenly put my year of graduation as 2010 not 2011. I have no idea what to do. The common app website does not list any contact information so I have no idea how to contact them in any way. Does anyone know what I must do to correct this mistake for the colleges that I have already submitted my application to and how to correct the mistake on my common app so that I can correctly send it to the other colleges that I still have not appiled to yet? Please I only want honest answers to this question. I already know that I should have been even more careful in proof-reading my application.

Send each college a short note correcting the mistake by mail. Don’t make a big deal about it. For the other colleges, look at the instruction page for instructions on how to revise it.
