Mistaken coursework question

I had a question about the coursework I reported on my application. I realized that I listed the same class twice, but in different semesters. I took this class outside the US three years ago and it's actually not related to my major, it's an Art History class. But I was told that I was being given credit for those two classes (which is just one really). My question is if my admission could be rescinded when they find the discrepancy on my application and my transcript?

I don't see how it could affect me since I completed the IGETC and TAG independently of those classes (+ IB credit). Actually I have 104 units completed in a CC with a 4.0. So I don't really need that credit for anything. Still, I'm planning on telling them about my mistake. But I was wondering if anyone else had had the same situation or anything similar and what happened.

This happened to a friend of mine, and there were no negative consequences. She simply told the school about her situation, said it was her mistake, and they changed her record without a second thought (this was UC Davis, btw).

As long as your GPA stays good and you still have the needed credits and classes, you should be fine. Just let the school know.
