On my application to Northwestern, I mistyped two letters in my last name. All my other identification information is correct but I can't edit it now that it's submitted. Is this bad?

Colleges admission officers are not copy editors, and they probably suspect at least some of their applicants are human and susceptible to making errors from time to time. Don’t sweat the small stuff - I doubt anyone will notice.

thanks macgyver, you’re so handy

im just worried that a wrong signature will make my whole application void

Relax. VP Biden dropped the F bomb when introducing Pres. Obama. You will be surprised what you will survive in life. Furthermore, you don’t want to attend a school that fails to recognize the “humanity” in all of us. Make your New Years resolution to partake of the antibiotic for perfectionism.
