Brilliant. I just love it. Hilarious. I would really appreciate if any of you MIT-s could provide me with the lyrics......I found a version but it doesn't quite apply to this video hahaha.

There are a huge number of verses that have been made up, and I don’t know that there’s anywhere they’re codified. There are a number here.

My favorite is this one:

Among those which are suitable for posting here (some of the verses can get quite racy and downright offensive), two of my favorites are:

Makes me chuckle every time. :)

I know dozens of verses, but sadly, all of my favourites are not postable :-(

Indeed, whereas the Logarythms are associated with “Take me back to MIT” (Technology ology oh), the MIT Chorallaries are traditionally the keepers of the Engineers drinking song. They sing it regularly at innocuous functions (like the Parents Weekend Gala), but they also host the annual Concert in Bad Taste in the Spring term each year, when some less salubrious verses will fill 10-250.

I also quite like the beaver call:

Just out of curiosity what are the Logarythms??? (not the mathematical concept >.>")

^ They’re an a capella group on campus :)

The name makes you think of some Math-Nerd group.
Outstanding sense of humor MIT has.

Even the professors don’t stay behind. (some convos are hilarious)

And my favorite verses are the Harvard related ones. I am not a Harvard-hater but they’re damn funny hahahaha:p

I found a different club to be very funny. In response to vegan groups, some folks formed MIT Beef. Whenever there is a vegan rally or protest on campus, MIT Beef shows up and has a cookout. There really is a sense of humor there. Most hacks are funny too.

^ I’ve never seen that happen, though I’ve also never seen a vegan rally :P

Now that you mentioned hacks…I really wonder how did you guys manage to steal the Caltech cannon…i mean, isn’t there supposed to be some sort of security in Cal campus???

…and I wonder if the MIT administration contributed with the shipping costs :p

AFAIK, the Caltech Cannon wasn’t shipped in the mail :P
