The past few years, when they announced what day decisions would be released on, they always added “There is no confirmation page between the login and the decision result, so do not login until you’re ready.”</p>

<p>Yup…30 of my friends applied there this time…hardly know anything more than getting accepted there is “COOL”:)</p>
<p>Such guys should be flat out rejected… I mean, it’s not really fair if they get accepted if they don’t really want to be there in the first place, whereas someone who’s truly a match gets rejected.</p>
<p>They think that anyone who qualifies for some regional/national level olympiad…qualifies immediately…</p>

<p>I am pretty sure that if someone was a ‘true match’ they would be given a place… and some people are undecided. I’d say that you’re being a bit harsh by saying that only people who want to go to MIT should get in. It might not be noble but some people do trophy hunt. But at the same time they’re probably the ones who know that they’re good enough. Anyway if you were a good fit for MIT then I’m sure MIT admissions will have seen that in your application 
no point in worrying.</p>

<p>Man, am I really excited! I’ve got my final exams going on now and I can’t help but lose myself thinking about MIT. lol
