MIT Waitlist - Letters of Rec

I am currently waitlisted by MIT for the Class of 2019.

I am very enthusiastic about attending, thus I sent MIT Admissions an update letter and 2 of my science teachers sent letters of rec. I believe my Calc teacher will be able to write me a very good letter. However, I am wondering whether 3 letters of rec would be too much.

I’d very much like to hear your opinions!

There have been years where MIT took zero students from the waitlist - they were already full. Be prepared for a decision that is out of your hands.
