if you get accepted into MIT for business, will they still allow you to take some of their engineering courses?

MIT does not admit by major, and students do not declare majors until the end of freshman year. An applicant who wants to major in managements is treated no differently by admissions or by the school than someone who wants to major in engineering.

Even students who decide to study management at the end of freshman year are able to take courses from other departments at MIT. Very few MIT classes have restrictions on who can take them, so virtually all undergraduate and graduate level classes at MIT are available for anyone with interest.

Many management majors take engineering classes; management is a popular double major, so many management students are also engineering students anyway.
