@RedShark SAME I GOT INTO BOTH AS WELL
@RedShark are you in the SAMS GC?
@RedShark @AhmedDiongue I don’t think you will be able to do both because the conference for MOTSEC @ MIT occurs during the SAMS program and they won’t let you leave that early,

How do you know the acceptance rate?
I was waitlisted btw
did you get a notification email?
@blueskyreal Yeah I kind of figured. Well, TIME TO REJECT MIT (NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER SAY THAT)
Hey does anyone else only have a decision for MOSTEC? Maybe I accidentally only ticked MOSTEC, but I don’t see a desicion for MITES at all on my portal (not a rejection, nor an accepteance). It just says I got into MOSTEC and nothing else.
Ypu don’t get a decision for both @npride101, Just a rejcection, WL, or acceptance to either one
@CoolChem Oh, so that means I was rejected from MITES, I suppose? Or not considered at all? I’m confused.
No, but I would love to join.
Rejected! All the best to those of you who got in!
I got into MOSTEC!! And I only can see the MOSTEC acceptance, I don’t see anything about MITES on my portal
Can any past participants help me with this?!! So I just got waitlisted for MITES/MOSTEC but I am currently a state officer for the Virginia student council association. The national convention is from June 22 to the 26th and is somewhat mandatory. How lenient is the MITES program on coming a few days after the start(say around the 25th)? If I got into MITES would I have to skip nationals, and should I email the office about this conflict?
what was the acceptance rate for MOSTEC, I know it was like 3.5% for MITES
@nathaliesflower Same. I’m confused too. I don’t know if that means I was rejected, if my decision isn’t out yet, or if somehow I only ticked MOSTEC on the form…
You can only get into either MITES or MOSTEC @npride101 @nathaliesflower, not both.
Hey all!!! I was accepted into MITES but I’ll be turning it down for another program (LEDA), so that’ll open up a spot on the waitlist for someone!
Best of luck to you all, and remember that a decision for one summer program does not define you and your worth as a student or a person
I got into MOSTEC!
