<p>I'm planning on applying next year ED1. I've already started working on essays and they have to do with social justice. I've been looking at other peoples stats who received it, and I was just curious as to how much money the MLK scholarship gives? Does it only award it to members of minority groups? </p>

<p>Also if I were to get in under ED1, would they notify if I got the scholarship once I get my acceptance email or will they not reveal scholarships until March-ish?</p>

<p>Friends son received it last year. He’s Hispanic, freshman in Stern now. Had a lot of community service with a pretty big project he started benefiting cancer research. I think his parents said it was 36k.</p>
