Mock Trial or Academic Decathalon

So in the state of Texas, both state competitions for Mock Trial and Academic Decathaon are held on the same weekend. So obviously I can't do both. Which one would benefit me getting into ivy leagues the most? I want to be a lawyer but that's graduate school right? And Harvard doesn't have a pre law program. Also, I don't want to major in history or government but something sciency but then go to Harvard law? What do you guys think?

My school always goes to both competitions at the state level but never advances further than that.

come on you guys! I really want your opinion.

anyone? pretty pleaseeeee
and im not saying im getting into harvard. but one can dream right?

If not ■■■■■■■■…

Neither will help you significantly unless you are passionate enough to utterly destroy your competition. Ac Dec is insane. Top kids study 50 hours a week the month before the competition. Good luck.

I’ve done both. Mock trial for four years and academic decathlon for the last two years in high school.
If you think you want to become some type of attorney I encourage you to join mock trial. You will be able to get a better grip of what goes on in a trial.
Oh and btw, when you join they tell you every role is important (which is true I guess) but you get more experience being an attorney.
