Molecular Biology At Harvard = Quality?

What does the typical molecular biology major at Harvard have to say with regards to quality? ...And access to research? How is the program structured? In particular, I'm curious to know how it compares to Yale or Princeton's bol bio departments.

Thanks in advance.

Everything at Harvard= Quality

Thanks, that helps.

let's assume the above post was spoken in an ironic tone. any real comparisons between harvard and the other top molecular bio programs?

Stanford remains the premiere school for any biological science. For undergraduate research, the opportunities are unsurpassed.

"Everything at Harvard= Quality"

I don't think that's true at all.

According to the NRC rankings of GRADUATE education, which may or may not be relevant to undergrad education:

Molecular Biology/Biochemistry: Stanford #2, Harvard #5
Molecular Biology/Genetics: Harvard #3, Stanford #5.

I'd say that's pretty equally matched.

Other great schools for molecular bio include (ranked in top 10 in BOTH molecular bio/biochem AND molecular bio/genetics):
MIT, Berkeley, Yale, Caltech, Wisconsin, UC San Diego, Johns Hopkins.

That's a pretty wide range of schools to choose reaches, matches, and even safeties...

On the other hand, a lot of small liberal arts colleges have excellent bio programs as well...
