My Monday looks like it will be the least enjoyable....

I have my first class at 11:30 AM and my last ending at 7 PM. It's basically filled with ENGR 101, CHEM, and a CALC class. I won't have lunch and will have like 2 hours (at most) in between certain classes.

That is a pretty bad Monday schedule, but hey -- at least you can stay up late Sunday. Are you lucky enough to have like one class Tuesday/Thursday since so much is elsewhere? To make you feel better, you only have to do that Monday schedule 13 times (3 in September since class starts Tuesday, 4 in October due to a study break, 4 times in November, and 2 in December).

My 18-credit schedule: MWF 10am-1pm (lunch served till 2pm); TR 9-11:30am and 1-4pm (nice lunch break). The 9-10am on TR is only for the first half semester. It's good to be a senior. =)

It was kind of tempting to take Math 593. I could've had Physics 453, Math 596, Math 593, and Math 575 back to back. Unfortunately I've heard not good things about Dolgachev, so I'm pushing back algebra a year and doing general/differential topology while it's still somewhat fresh in my mind from 395-396.

I really hope he just meant he wanted his schedule compared to other engineer's schedules, not that engineer's schedules are inherently harder. In THAT case, I'd say his schedule is a little below average just because lots of incoming engineers test out of math 115/chem 130. My roommate from last year said in his freshmen year, he was doing 18 credits (including double honors orgo) and had a day or two of classes nonstop from 9-6.

very excited about this schedule. Chem 261 ends 4 weeks into the semester. I can alternate between Physics 140 morning/afternoon lectures depending on if I want to wake up that day or not. And I have a nice free afternoon to satisfy my research credits.

Plus my friend who just graduated said he had him for a class or two and was just awful. If you want to do some stuff with algebra, you should be able to stick it out and figure everything out from reading/other people in the class. It just so happens with my current plan for what classes to take that I can afford to put off algebra for a year.
