Money problems $$

She's leaving Juilliard so that wouldn't have happened unfortunately.

Just found out my friend got a full ride to Northwestern.

That has got to be hard, being happy for your friend when it's something you wanted so badly yourself.

Yea well he's a great player. Maybe if linds played for me (Vieuxtemps5) I would have gotten a full scholarship too.

We'll see how it works out.

This is very confusing. At one point, you say that Linds is Vieuxtemps5, but this sentence reads that "if Linds had played for "me" (presumably "me" is Gil who was the poster of this post....not Vieux)".

If you meant to write that "if Linds had played for me (Gil)"...well, I'll just say that it's good that did not happen because it is abundantly dishonest. Plus you sound like you have your own talent to have been accepted at the places to which you were accepted.

Sorry to be off the topic, but you both seem to dislike Juillard. Can you say a few quick things about this? Did juilliard offer you better aid at all? Thanks

Thumper, is there some kind of problem? Clearly it's a joke. Vieuxtemps is a really good violinist, much better than me. I was making a joke that if they heard her play and thought it was me, I'd be in a much better position. Obviously that impossible in just about every single way, and for you to launch into a spiel about how it's dishonest is kind of strange. Relax, it was just a joke. I'm trying to find like $80,000 by April 15th and I'm quite stressed out, I don't see something wrong with making a joke like that.

Gil...no problem and I was not trying to start a big to do with you about this.

Good luck finding that money. You DO sound like a talented player (as I said in my previous post). Somehow this will work out.
