Monologue for auditions

Hi,
So I have a list of monologues I’ve been looking at. I need two contemporary monologues, one comedic one dramatic. Does anyone have any suggestions for plays I should look in for additional just in case?
These are the one’s I’ve been looking at:
Enigma- Begins with “No-- It happened to me…”
The Straw (Eileen)- Beginning with “Then I want to say…I know your secret”
Valentines Day: Beginning with “Well… I was going to tell you about my Morrison”
Goodbye Charles: It’s terrible being nice (I’m slightly worried about the age range for this one but it’s so much fun and I’m having trouble finding comedic monologues. I think the only real thing that makes it more adult is the fact it’s about a proposal and they say bitch three times. Thoughts?)
Thanks for any help.

Hi!

The likely reason that no one is replying is because we don’t know you. And I mean that in the kindest way. We don’t know your type, your skill level, what things would show you off in your best light.

Is there someone you can turn to in your community? Teachers? Other actors? Are you able to hire a coach that has strong expertise in monologues? It’s really tough to help you without actually knowing you.

Best of luck!

You may want to add a Shakespeare. Some schools require it, others will ask on the spot, do you have any Shakespeare? Better to be prepared and able to say, yes.
