"..Monologue from either classical or contemporary drama" (?)

Hello! Tomorrow, I'm recording an audition tape for a MT summer program, and one of the requirements is a 1-minute-long age-appropriate monologue from either classical or contemporary drama. I've planned on using "the coathanger speech" from "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." However, reading the requirements for the monologue again, I'm getting paranoid that a musical comedy doesn't count as 'classical or contemporary drama.' Am I just reading this wrong or do I need to find a new piece--pronto?

Thank you SO much!

usually, monologues should be from plays, not musicals.
