more insight on NU.

Hello everyone,
I am very interested in studying at NU.
I am a student-athlete so I will be taking part of a sport.
I already know many things about the univ. but I would like more insight of the campus and the students.
Do most students go to Chicago on the weekend? What I mean by this question is that I want to know if students like to visit or do different activities rather than being on campus all the week.
How about the campus?(size, green, beauty)
And what about the dorms? (beauty, size, party) I definitely want to be in a dorm without to much party.

Thanks in advance!
Any reply would be nice!

Students vary in their Chicago goingness, but I’d say the average is 1-2 times per month. That shoots up for juniors and seniors who are 21+. Many students will stay for a summer or two to work in downtown Chicago, which puts you there every day.

I’ve been to 10/12 big ten schools (not MN or NEB), and Northwestern is definitely the prettiest, although Michigan could put up a small fight. Size is fine, you can walk from any one point to another in any reasonable amount of time.
