Taking more than 4 AP exams a year at my school is considered extreme overload. A few people did it and I probably would have too, if I could have found a way to take Human Geography.

That’s cool! I took the class freshman year (non AP) and did extremely well so I guess with a little brush up it may be pretty swell.

And thanks kk0494 for the advice! I will definitely look into Barrons!

I think I will have 3 AP classes next year. Technically, I’m supposed to take a 4th, but I can’t fit it into my schedule. I have 3 classes on a potential “self-study” list, but I’d only self-study one of the three, and I’m not sure if I’ll even do it at all. I self-studied this year for one test, and I think I did pretty well (I’m projecting a 4 on that test), but until I get my scores back, I won’t make any decisions. I also don’t think I could self-study 3 and keep up with everything else; that’s a really big undertaking, and I’d rather do really well on one test than poorly (or just not so well) on three.
As such, I will complete high school with 6-7 AP tests completed.

I’ve only taken 2: Human Geo and World History. I started a dual enrollment program my junior year, so no more AP classes. I could still take the AP tests, but I guess I’m just lazy.
