Salve Regina College in Newport, Rhode Island…close to the Breakers.

I think I’ve visited around 30 campuses at this point… In terms of beauty, Regent University and College of the Holy Cross would be leading by far. But if you’re considering something a little more modern-looking, I found American and Northeastern quite nice as well.

Furman, definitely

Not from a personal visit way out there, but the University of Wyoming’s website sure makes the campus look good. Likewise, Pitt-Johnstown, which I learned about here on CC.

after you read through the thread, 100s of colleges are listed. How can that be!

It depends on what you like. Wyoming is beautiful at times of the year, but the buildings are made of a similar stone so you either like it or hate it. They do have a gorgeous (new) theater and dance building, and a science building that is quite interesting. U of Colorado is the same - love it or hate it, there are a lot of stone building and matching roofs.

Florida Southern is often listed in the ‘most beautiful’ campuses as it has 7 Frank Lloyd Wright structures (not all buildings as there is a walkway system and a fountain). It’s not my style. There are some old ‘southern’ style buildings too, and then a Chinese garden section.

My daughter thinks the Air Force Academy is the best because she likes everything all organized and symmetrical. If it were up to her, she’d probably get rid of the chapel as it is ‘different.’

@lemonlulu - How can that be? Most people haven’t visited even a fraction of the colleges out there and the question is what’s the “Most Beautiful Campus You’ve Visited.” We might all come to more agreement if we’d all visited the same schools.

Then too, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some schools folks have listed would never make my list and mine might not make theirs.

Cornell. So beautiful!

@twoinanddone funny the wife and I were just talking about the most beautiful college churches in the country today, and the Air Force chapel has to rank very very high IMO.

Any college church doesn’t compare with the Notre Dame church in Quebec, Canada. Heard the original in France is even more beautiful.

I agree Cornell is beautiful but so darn cold. My kid didn’t apply to Cornell even though he’s a legacy because it’s so cold and isolated there. Same thing with Harvard.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame is gorgeous.

AFA is beautiful if you are a Protestant and upstairs. The other religions are in the basement.

U of San Diego= beautiful (but didn’t make the list)

Wellesley, of course.

Mount Holyoke is the prettiest one I have seen and they are proud of it. I got escorted off the campus by security because I was uglying up the place.

LOL–had similar exp at Colgate. Nice summer day and we were just driving around in a nice dad car and security care started to follow us–60+ YO married couple. Cant be too careful.

Princeton, Wellesley, Amherst, Flagler, UC Santa Cruz, Stanford, Kenyon.
