Most beautiful Languages

hey,

you can say Farsi, yes, it's another way, but generally the correct (formal) way of using it would be "Persian"

It's just like France. You don't say "i went to France and spoke Francais.." but rather " i went and spoke french..."

that's the same rule for "persian" it's just that it's confused because it's not as common as french.

several people a while back said they never heard persian. i found a fabulous clip of the persian language in order for you to hear it. check it out. u need real player.

<a href="http://eworldrecords.com/bardidtou.html%5B/url%5D">http://eworldrecords.com/bardidtou.html</a></p>

click on "sample" should work. you need realplayer. man that is a beautiful piece of language.

i have yet to find a Japanese one....i heard this japanese song and i totally loved it ! it was real nice too.

I vote for baby language. Its sooo simple and soo universal.

not only the baby can understand what its saying but everyone around it seems to too!

Any counterarguments???????????

<a href="http://eworldrecords.com/bardidtou.html%5B/url%5D">http://eworldrecords.com/bardidtou.html</a></p>

click on 'sample". sorry if i posted twice i don't think it went through.

I'm searching for japanese one.

in the meantime check out the persian.

you sandwiched my awesome thread!!! j/k

Hmz, i have to disagree on the baby language. Not everyone can understand baby language (what ages babies are we talking about?) an there is evidence that japanese baby cannot understand a dutch baby in all occasions, the language "switches' are already eing set so baby language is not truly universal (if there actually is such thing as universal language)

French and Italian

akash- thats interesting. here (at least at my school) it was taught that it was a mystery as to how to actually speak it. it does make sense that one could make a good estimate as to how it was spoken if the written language is similar to current langauges.

northrams: i'm pretty sure they know how sanskrit was spoken because i know several people who speak it...also...they (in india) still have news etc. in sanskrit!!...it's really beautiful!

wow get an one year old from japan and another from america and put them together. You would see what i am talking about.

wait there are no news in sanskcrit. what are you talking about ? I llived in delhi for 10 years and never heared the language being spoken. Its dead, just like latin

latin's not dead.

it's like my great-great-grandfather. he lives on...through me. and sometimes I see his ghost in strange places, like the few small islands where it's still being spoken.

about the baby thing--don't try it. all they do is sleep and cry, regardless of language.

nomad: they do have news in sanskrit on the radio...i've lived in india all my life too...haha...when you're in a small town you listen to the radio sometimes...when you live in delhi..maybe not..!!!

are you serious ? Which small town are you talking about ? sorry but this news is highly suprising as i have live din a couple of small towns myself:)

And by dead language what i meant is people do not use it activvely and hence no changes can be made to it. Now if you argue that a village or aclan of fmailies still speak it, its no tvalid. Look at the big picture. Thats why all scientific terms are in latin!

i def would hve to say french and italian...they are so sexy/pretty and their accents in english are sexy and pretty...hahaha.
But it could also be the connotations that we have with french and italians, they are very passionate people...so their language is passionate as a result. I don't kno I'm a romantic.

I heard swedish and it sounded really cool...not pretty or anything but really cool. Ughh i speak russian and i don't think it is pretty...maybe it is boring for me, but a lot of my friends like it. Japanese is realllllllly cute and chinese-mandarin is nice, cantonese is too harsh. Spanish (castillian and argentian) is the prettiest of all the varieties of Spanish. Several teachers in my school's spanish dept are argentian and they speak spanish in a prettier way.

Ummm dutch sounds reallllly cool! BRITISH ENGLISH-rox (except like cockney...and the ones u can't understand) Welsh is cool too!

Russian...

There's just something about it... something that makes so sexy and enticting. Like bittersweet..

ahhhh... I want to learn that language.

haha i can teach u it. I was born in Moscow and am Russian, obviously. But yea I speak it at home...I guess ur own language doesn't usually seem pretty.

Desa Bhashalandu TELUGU Lessa

----Sri Krishna Devarayalu-----

is that greek or romanian?

Japanese orgins merely as an extension of Chinese spoken by those who migrated from northern part of China due to some sort of disaster to an island now known as Japan.

Chinese definitely rules

tebro, do you mean the Vatican?
