Hmm the hardest class I’ve taken in high school is Grade 9 Latin. The tenses and stuff went wayyyy too fast for me. We learned nominative, accusative, ablative, dative, genitive, and vocative for 1st-4th declension nouns, and present, imperfect, future, perfect, and future perfect for verb tenses (active + passive, only indicative except for present tense, for which we learned imperative too), and the teacher didn’t teach, just gave us sheets and told us to learn. Some people managed to do really well though.

Now, the hardest class for me is probably U.S. History. Too much work.

Don’t laugh but Algebra I… I had no idea what was going on all year when I took it. The teacher was ridiculous with homework and had no idea even how to teach. She could barely multiply so whenever she would finally finish an example, we would have to start over because she messed up somewhere.

Geometry and chemistry last year were pretty hard for me, but probably because I had them periods 9 and 10 and was way too tired to apply myself. Chemistry was especially hard because my teacher never explained anything, didn’t give homework, and tested us anyway. I’m studying chemistry on my own time now, though, and I like it a lot! :)

This year AP US is killing me. It’s not even the material-- it’s the workload, in addition to being stuck with the American Pageant (which our teacher forces us to use, even though he hates it himself).

This year? Bible studies (don’t laugh- she’s the sweetest little old lady type, but a MURDEROUS tester).
Math is always hard for me, but it’s not that I have a hard time with concepts- just when I get to the test.
AP Bio is just SO MUCH WORK (I’m here procrastinating taking a take-home test) and the test is in 3 FLIPPIN’ WEEKS. I am NOT gonna be ready (even though it’s one of my favorite classes subject wise).

For a STEM-oriented person such as me, English.
Use integrals and a given formula to find the distance traveled by a particle? Easy.
Analyze the underlying themes of Kubla Khan? Heck no!

Honors English 11… It’s just that my teacher thinks we’re college students and grades our essays as such. Basically everyone gets B unless your essay is phenomenal. I’m close to getting my first B, and if I do, I will kill her.
