What is the hardest class you have ever taken?

I'm just wondering what is the hardest class that CCers have taken.

I’ve never taken a class that was conceptually hard to grasp, however, the most time consuming class I’ve taken, which has required the most work and time, was probably AP U.S. History.

Computer Applications I, 10th grade.

Easy elective class, right? Not for me. We had a stop-motion project and I ended up doing it with >1000 individual MS Paint images because I’m a moron and couldn’t figure out how to use Adobe Flash. Took forever.

A.P. U.S.History. Sooo time consuming, so much studying, awful teacher. Actual quotes from her include “it was right up there with life, liberty, and life.” “(referencing Mexicans) remember, they were brown.” “who were those funny guys in white hats in the woods? oh yea, the KKK.” You’re a weird one, Mr. Grinch

AP US History for me too, mostly because we had a horrible teacher. Seems to be a trend, hmm…

Conceptually, i’d say that pre-calculus was the hardest, because I hated the subject material and the teacher couldn’t teach it.

Probably circuit analysis or physics 3.

Mathematical proofs

AP European History and AP Chem. These classes are not necessarily difficult, but they come with a lot of work.

For most AP classes, I’ve done badly at the beginning and then sort of “got it” and did a lot better.

ap biology…hopefully my only B in high school…

Yay, circuit analysis… Fun stuff right there, I mean, I’m going to enjoy it :D

Anyways, Honors English (Well AP English Language is harder with 95% of the grade being essays and an 8-9 gets you a middle A and a 6-7 gets you a middle B on the scale) is the hardest. My only, but 11 B’s in High School are English. Pointless class where I have to put together a bunch of BS, but no matter how good my BS is, I still get “B’S” on it. English is so hated, that it is the difference between valedictorian and rank 14.

Sophomore year English.

AP Chem. Good Lord.

Physics (regular). I pretty much sucked at it. I didn’t really understand projectile motion and was clueless with drawing diagrams and understanding the problems. I got an A- both semester but had to work my butt off for it. I’m taking calc (regular) right now and am having trouble with antiderivatives and optimization problems. Need to practice more…

Everyone is going to laugh, but definitely my Algebra 1 class in 8th grade. I was in cyber school and they basically handed me a book and made me teach myself. It worked out though, I didn’t have to do anything for the first semester of Alg 2. I have Calc AB now and it’s really pretty easy because I have such a strong Algebra base.

Physics Honors. Dear lord, this stuff is complicated.

This might sound really dumb, but art. I took the prerequisite foundation art class my freshman year. I tried really hard but no matter how good I thought my artwork came out I always got a C. I just am not artistically talented in the least. My transcript right now is entirely A’s and A-'s with the sole exception of a B- in foundation studio.
I am in Calculus AB right now and that’s pretty hard. I understand it but when it comes to taking the tests I am not so great. But I have a B, which isn’t too bad. And is still better than my art grade!!
PE is pretty painful too, but it’s graded on effort so I still do well.
English is my hardest subject. I had the same really tough teacher freshman and junior year. I loved him, but I struggled. I still ended up doing well though. My sophomore English class was a huge joke though so that was nice.

AP Physics B. I don’t even want to think about how hard the other AP Physics are.

AP Environmental Science. The material was not hard. It’s just that my teacher thought she was teaching AP Physics and if we all didn’t pass she would get fired and thrown into the pits of hell. Therefore, the work load was enormous.

Or my Algebra 2 class in 9th grade. We had to do everything on a computer program in class, but the teacher was never there, so we had no one to teach us how to do anything. To this day I barely know anything from Algebra 2
