Most Diverse Colleges -Only one Ivy

They only include a small subset of all 4000+ colleges. If I include all 4-year colleges that offer bachelor’s degrees, I get the following “most diverse” colleges with the described methodology. I am excluding unknowns ethnicity, as if they are not a part of the campus population. The list from the OP is often ~1% off from my calculation, perhaps because of treating unknowns differently and/or using different years.

Note that the top 3 are all Hawaiian universities. A maximum score of 7/8 = 87.5% would occur with equal distribution among all 8 race/ethnicity categories. The top ranked college reached 83% with~21% Hawaiian, ~19% Asian, ~19% Black, ~14% White, ~14% Hispanic, and ~12% Multi-racial. The main areas they were lacking are American Indian and international.

  1. University of Phoenix-Hawaii -- 83%
  2. Pacific Rim Christian -- 82%
  3. Hawaii Pacific U -- 82%
  4. Westcliff U -- 81%
  5. NYIT -- 80% (list says 81%)

The highest Ivy was Columbia at 77% (list says 78%). The lowest Ivy was Dartmouth at 69%. The least diverse college that I’ve seen mentioned on the forums is Morehouse at 8% (94% black).
