Most financial aid granted to internation.- which colleges?

Hey! I know it is very late in the year, but I just realized that I did not apply to "safety" schools, especially in terms of money. Could you PLEASE name a couple of places that give VERY generous awards to international students? Maybe it's not too late to apply?

I have GPA around 97 (out of 100), 2130 on SAT, 5 on AP Euro, 4's on AP English Lang. and Amer. Hist; I'm an artist, do volunteer work, theatre, know fluently 2 languages and speak 2 more. However, I just received a letter from one good university stating that unless I have money for the first year (full cost), they can not even CONSIDER my application. These news are extremely painful for me - considering how much hard work I have done for 4 years in US (I live at a boarding school, my entire family is back home). I would GREATLY APPRICIATE your help.

Hasn't your school counselor helped? It's too late to apply for next year at the schools that give good aid.

Where are you from and where have you applied?

Try Berea, gettysburg, and the likes. LACs are most generous

well if you are an inteernational student looking for substantial Financial aid, then there is no such thing as a safety.
You could try University of new Orleans. with ur SAT score, they'd probably give u their full tuition scholarship.
if u r looking for Colleges whose deadlines havent passed yet here are a few
Dickinson college
SaintLawrence University
Trinity University
Gettysburg College
All the above colleges have a First Feb. Deadline. but they are competitive Schools. and not safeties.

And Gettysburg lets you submit everything- even the transcripts- on line. so atleast one deadline u can make.

The councelor helped (and frankly, she pressed for "safer" schools), but I was too self-confident that someone will accept me. Well, now I am down to earth - unfortunatelly late.
I'm from Moldova (Eastern Europe), and applied to a huge number of schools: WashU, Princeton, Brown, Amherst, Brandies, Rice, Duke, Richmond, Mount Holyoke, Bates.... I tried to increase my chance of getting the financial aid I need.

The colleges that you've already applied to offer full demonstrated financial need. Karpov, the deadlines for Gettysburg, Trinity passed long ago!

Gettysburg deadline hasn't passed. It was extended till theend of this week...I checked with the admissions office!

Flibb is right talha. Anyway sine i applied to those four schools myself by ther first feb deadline, i should know. I am talking about RD here.
@helenmis
Most first feb colleges are still taking in apps. G burg RD apps were down 15%. you can still apply.

@Talha
Its Trinity University not trinity college. Its in San Antonio, TX.

Opps. I was talking about the Connecticut one. The LAC! Anyway, I guess you know better.
