what are you guys putting for the two 300-character questions? I asked my friend in admissions at another school about the “Tell us something else” and he thought that it sounds like a politicla correctness thing so that URM can make sure that Penn knows

i wrote about the development of the concept of 0, originated in india

i wrote about the treaty of westphalia as most important moment in history. and for the something else i wrote about how im a huge Buffalo Bills fan and can weave, knit, spin yarn, and make bobbin lace. i liked those questions. they were fun

I think for most important moment in history I'll write "the invention of windshield wipers"

hahah cute. uhh. i did something completely different. not telling :)

hahah cute.

hopenn thats a good idea.

i talked about something from wwii.

i did wwii as well...but i applied it to fit my application

i talked about wwII as well, about the fall of the nazi empire

fall of the nazi empire...is the most important moment in ALL of history?? all 30 somethin thousand years of it?

muhauha i did intel 4004 microprocessor (the first).

ill tell you guys what i did after nov 1. i dont want to risk some other kid swiping it up after another kid told me he was doing the same history thing.

i kind of like mine. i'll post up maybe after dec. 15
maybe not in case i get defferred. i want mine to be unique

yea well i related wwii to the overall political situation today

The most important moment in history was the dropping of Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima. It awakened the fear of a nuclear warfare. It marked beginning of the contest between Soviet Union and United States in nuclear weapons. It affected civilians of many countries including China. My parents would often talk about the stories during their childhood when they lived under the fears of getting bomb. My parents grew up under these tremendous fear of that one day there will be a nuclear warfare eventually destroys the world.

i HAD the signing of the declaration of independence but am re-writing. gRRRR can't. think. i'm still trying to convince myself that one even exists; i think everything is equally important (butterfly effect ishness) but if i say that, i'm not answering the question. so i have to pick something, but WHAT!? hmmmm....

HAHA supermodel..have u read the front cover of the Penn pamphlet?? LOL if you used signing of the dec of indep that'd be so cheap.

u should justt hink of something that u think changed the course of ****ing everything. and do it!

SuperAzn thats what I wrote about too! frig. someone else in my class was thinking of that too.

I could've come up with something more original. But

1.) I went with what I really believed.

2.) I hear those short essays are more just to get a feel for your writing than anything else.

So, now that nov 1st has come and gone what did you guys write about?

For my first I did newton's publishing of his Principia. For the second I said that I am extremely determined. I used an alexander pope quotation for the first one, and some quotation by some guy named Trin Tru Tring or something like that for the second.

I am wondering what everyone put as well.
