<p>Just an observation, but one that I’ve seen happen over and over again. One field is “hot” right now and there is competition for graduates in that field. Competition means higher salaries. Students see those high salaries and go into that field in search of those high salaries. Well, 4 years later guess what? The companies have been hiring those grads all of that time, and that larger number of graduates are now coming out of college and there is a glut of graduates in that field. Jobs are hard to come by and salaries hit bottom.</p>
<p>Go into what you like to do and can do well. You will be much better off.</p>
