Just out of curiosity! When we apply and list our potential concentrations, does Penn value any of that? For example is there an advantage in being interested in less popular concentrations?
@Greasy nope there is no advantage. you can easily change your concentration once you are in. now if say you are interested in healthcare management and have had extensive experience doing healthcare econ research or something like that, then you would have an advantage over the generic finance kid applying to wharton. but the advantage would be because of your proven unique background, not because you simply indicated an interest in a less popular concentration.

I agree with @Penn95. But the answer to your first question is finance. Finance is by far the most popular concentration. In fact, the Wharton School used to be the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce until the early 70’s, which is why President Trump refers to the school that way even though Penn shortened the name decades ago.
