<p>Financial or industrial mostly, but in theory any of them would do. With engineering you don’t have to go down a science path, rather (especially at LACs) you learn to solve problems in a systematic way of thinking.</p>
<p>I’ve heard that answer a lot and its now starting to worry me down my path. I am majoring in either Finance or Accoutning (most likely) for my undergrads and was def. planning to get an MBA later on. A financial analyst who has been working for 3 yrs who got his undergrads in corporate Finance vs an engineering/econ major who has been working for the same number of years before applying to Top 10 MBA schools. Is there a significant difference? rough estimates or statistics would help</p>
