@thenameisi I only applied to MoHo and Bryn Mawr. I wish I could’ve applied to Radcliffe hahaha
@papaya19 there’s nothing wrong with a dream like that
To all those interviewed: how was your interview experience ( also, @papaya19 that’s actually a great dream when you open the restaurant inform me where it is xD)?
Mine was absolutely amazing: I was so inspired by my interviewer and her work at MHC that the college rocketed up my list!
When I interviewed it was so relaxed. The interviewer was an MHC senior so the age difference wasn’t intense and I just talked about my dreams and aspirations!! The more I talked about what I want to do with my life, the more my love for MHC increased as she explained different things I could do at the school to achieve those goals! I personally think it went well because it felt more conversational than like an interview!
Maybe Interview was also with a current senior and was pretty chill. It was the first college interview I had ever done, so it probably could have been better, but my interviewer was really nice and it lasted longer than it was supposed to, which I think is a good sign.
Everyone on this thread sounds soo nice. I hope all of us make it ladies.
hey gentle reminder that not everybody who attends or applies to Mount Holyoke is a lady or girl or daughter or woman
@plainpotato – Do you mean you just have to identify as female to apply? I’ve wondered about that.
Quick question- can anyone tell me whether financial aid documents were included in the checklist on the portal or not?
@AlmostThere2018 I believe so- not sure tho
@thenameisi no, i think they were on a separate portal
@taxicab1729 so the documents didn’t show up on the admission portal right?
@thenameisi nope. not for me.
@taxicab1729 okay thanks!
@thenameisi I have a separate financial aid portal
@SpareOom yeah I was trying to use my detective skills but didn’t really work out ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I interviewed with an alumna who graduated twenty years ago and a more recent alumna whom I’ll share a class symbol with if I attend MoHo. They were absolutely wonderful, encouraging, and helpful. Even if MoHo rejects me, I’ll still love that time I had with them omg. Listening to them talk about their college experiences made this school jump to the top of my list, although I already liked it a lot.
@SpareOom I really love your username
You don’t have to identify as a woman to apply. They accept applications from people who identify as any gender as long as they are not a cis male. Here is some info from their website: https://www.mtholyoke.edu/policies/admission-transgender-students
