accepted but disappointed there is no notification of any merit scholarship…@TeenageFanclubfan and @ChalkPastel and @smcirish, were the scholarship notices in your admissions letter or separate? …(…didnt apply for need-based aid so dont have a financial aid portal…?..)

except FA is … kinda bad so, either i’ll appeal or have to reject coming if smith gives better FA

I’m just curious… Are these “leadership and Global” type awards, typically going to applicants who were not “need based” aid applicants?

Accepted!! Got lots of aid but still not the amount I was asking for… guess I’ll have to appeal! So so happy nonetheless!!
@curiouscollege1 My D’s was not need based. We did apply for aid but she would have received very very little (but we applied just in case we needed it to be considered for merit).

Accepted with leadership award for all 4 years! The financial aid isn’t what I’d hoped but definitely better than what other schools have offered! I’m so excited!!
AHH so I originally got deferred from my top choice and was a bit sad about it and I then got accepted today to Mount Holyoke with surprisingly a good award packet, so maybe it worked out for the best. Congrats to the people who were accepted and if you weren’t I hope you get into your other schools. (:
