I think internationals usually get their notifications earlier for most schools, but considering the fact that some kids have been getting theirs today, I’d say it’s an open playing feild for everyone. (except for those of us who haven’t gotten the mail yet :()

LookitsBoston, may I ask what time you received your email?
Im guessing by your username that you are from the boston area? I am from the greater boston area too. I’m starting to feel like the notifications are random and not all at once.

No, internationals get the notifications together with the U.S. students. You get an email to check your ISIS account, so everyone gets it at the same time. It may be, that international students read it later, because of a time change. When they published ED results, they send all Friday evening, but because I live in Germany I read my acceptance letter on Saturday.

I’m not sure why some people have got their notifications… Maybe they accidently send some notifications…

I got an email this morning around 11 am (EST) telling me my admissions decision was available in my portal. I was accepted along with a leadership award granting me $15,000 a year. I’m from North Carolina. Good luck to everyone else who is waiting to hear back.

Well we’ve got one from Boston and one from NC so it does seem a bit random. I’m from Utah so not really sure what this means for me out here in the west.

They awarded me a 25k/ year scholarship, completely out of the blue. I can’t believe it!

I got an email at 8:00 AM (so 11:00 East Coast time). Just checked it though, and I’m beyond happy. I haven’t had a chance to visit Mount Holyoke before this but will be attending the admitted student program for sure.

I think there is a really high chance I will end up attending Mount Holyoke. It would take a lot for me to turn a scholarship like that down.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for the email :)

@blarghh CONGRATULATIONS! That is so amazing! I hope I’ll see you next fall Did you get an email telling you to check ISIS or was the decision/scholarship info in the email? Did it say anything about notifying you early or did it seem like a pretty run-of-the-mill regular decision acceptance? Sorry for so
many questions! Just anxiously awaiting my decision…

My 11:00 (East Coast time) email had the title: Your Admission Decision.

Here, I’ll copy paste it:

Of course, the suspense of it was killed for me because I opened the other, more recent email first (sent 1:00 East Coast time), titled “Mount Holyoke College–Come Visit Us” offering to pay for my travel expenses to visit.

So then I went on ISIS to read the decisions letter, and halfway through there was a paragraph about receiving the scholarship.

I hope you all hear from them soon, I know how terrible it is to have to wait!

Congrats to you and the others who’ve heard so far. I’m sticking with my theory that they are notifying certain candidates early and leaving the rest for later. The “certain” candidates seem to be among the strongest, ones who are getting scholarship offers. The rest of us will probably have to wait a few more days.

@ready: Thanks!
I’m not really comfortable with posting stats on a forum, but PM me if you want test scores/GPA/basic ECs.

I’m a bit confused for financial aid. There wasn’t any “awards” tab when I checked, but I don’t know if that’s because they aren’t done with finaid yet or because I don’t qualify for it with the scholarship factored in.
